This guidance note draws upon the International Men and Gender Equality Survey – Middle East and North Africa (IMAGES MENA) and other data sources and case studies from the region to explore the business case for gender equality in the workplace. The document aims to provide action-oriented steps and guidance on how business leaders – the vast majority of whom are male – with the support of civil society partners, United Nations key players, and governments can implement policies and programs to bring about change to achieve greater gender equality in the workplace.

This note was produced under the UN Women Men and Women for Gender Equality Programme, Arab States Regional Office, funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
