Masculinity and Gender Based Violence in Rwanda: Experience and Perceptions of Men and Women

This report shows the results of the International Men and Gender Equality Survey (IMAGES) in Rwanda, including men’s perceptions about masculinity and gender-based violence (GBV). The study, conducted from January 2010 to June 2010, examined the roots of GBV in relation to perceptions about masculinity within Rwandan society.
