This publication presents results from a study on masculinities and violence – inspired by IMAGES – carried out in Nicaragua, as part of a two-country research project promoting forms of nonviolent masculinities in Nicaragua and El Salvador. The report addresses gender-related attitudes and behaviors of men and provides current and relevant information for designing community, multi-sectoral, communications, and advocacy interventions and campaigns.
The report provides insights for civil society organizations, academic communities, state institutions, and other sectors, with the aim of contributing to the prevention of violence in its multiple forms. The project was carried out by Puntos de Encuentro, Bartolomé de las Casas Center, and Equimundo.
