Mainstreaming Male Allyship: An Action Guide for Business is an innovative e-learning course developed by Equimundo in partnership with the UN Global Compact. Designed for leaders, HR professionals, supervisors, and employee resource groups, the course equips businesses with the tools to launch or strengthen male allyship initiatives in the workplace. Hosted on the UNGC Academy platform and available in English (French, Spanish, and Arabic versions coming soon), the 3.5 hour, on-demand course walks participants through the structural and cultural shifts required to make male allyship a strategic driver of gender equality at work.

Through 16 bitesize modules—each ranging from 5 to 15 minutes—the course addresses the “why” and “how” of male allyship, from understanding masculinity and power to tackling resistance and designing gender-equitable policies. The course includes interactive activities, videos, quizzes, and a downloadable Male Allyship Handbook to deepen learning and encourage application within organizations. Learners explore key concepts such as the allyship continuum, gender power dynamics, and the business case for allyship, while developing roadmaps for implementation and evaluation.

Rather than focusing solely on individual behavior change, Mainstreaming Male Allyship emphasizes the institutional strategies needed to embed allyship into leadership, culture, and policy. The course offers participants a practical and reflective journey—inviting them to shape workplaces that are more inclusive, collaborative, and equitable for all genders. By recognizing men not only as supporters but as necessary partners in advancing gender equality, this action guide helps move the conversation from intention to impact.
